In the Face!

Augh.
I'm not lazy.
(well not lately)

And I've got stuff.
And I WANT to share it.
It's just time.
And lack of a large scale scanner.
One day though.
One day I will be with it.

Until that day, I give you small tidings.

This is an inside joke pertaining to some pages I did a long ways back.

And I'm still trying to figure out how to apply the coloring style I prefer to the inking style I like.
The problem stems mostly from the fact that I like producing colors similar to animation. For that you usually need line work with one thickness (known as deadline).
Unfortunately that same coloring style doesn't often hold up when the inked pieces have areas of heavy blacks or high contrast.
Something I like to indulge in as well.

I feel moderately confident when its one way or the other, but I would really like to find a middle ground too.

I think I'm getting there.
Slowly.

The Fuu Dog

Tinkering with new characters.

I'll probably go back and redesign the Fuu Dog.
I know that the origins are traced back to lions, and I like how he turned out, but I just can't compromise the expectations that accompany a name like Fuu dog.

Plus, I'm trying to meld my coloring style with hard blacks again.
We'll see how it progresses.

The Doll

This seems adequately appropriate for Halloween.
It started out as a body study.
Then it became a color study.
And it's ended up a pretty dreamy, creepy illustration.

So yeah.

And yes, despite looking so very very odd, the anatomy is fairly sound.
Anything that's off is to be attributed to the fact that she's a doll.

A Relationship Built on Love

Chase. Page 3 and a Plea for Help

My god!
Did I start yet another little project?
I think I did.

But this one is only ten pages, and (I'm hoping) very nearly wordless.

Now to business:
Can anyone tell me if there is some way to utilize a gadget (those nifty sidebar shinies) -->
that will post picture and text?
I can get picture.
I can get text.
But I can't get them together.
And I find that factoid particularly annoying.
Plus, I've scoured the internets for a means of doing so and so far come up with nil.

Which leads me to believe one of two things:
Either the technology simply does not exist (and I think it should: code writers I am looking at you).
Or the answer is so very, very simple I have overlooked it completely.

Now I beg of you:
Help me.
Please help me.

One more note.
I haven't an utter clue how to write code myself.
And believe me when I say trying to explain to me how will only result in massive hemorrhaging.
I'm looking for an answer I will understand.
